Meet Monroe County political candidates, find out about upcoming NOW events, and enjoy good food. You don’t need to be a Rochester NOW member to attend.

The following candidates will stop by:  Adam Bello, candidate for Monroe County Executive; Mike Collinger, candidate for Monroe County Court Judge; Shani Curry Mitchell, candidate for Monroe County District Attorney; Meredith Vacca, candidate for Supreme Court 7th Judicial District; and Karen Bailey Turner, candidate for Monroe County Court Judge.

Join us at the Genesee Valley Park, Dogwood Shelter, near East River Road - look for the NOW signs. Bring a dish to pass. Paper goods, water and soda will be supplied. Bring a friend.

Join us in the downstairs Community Room of Third Pres for a panel discussion on populism and demagoguery and how we can Protect our democratic system from the threat they pose. Speakers will include Thomas Proietti, resident scholar in media at St. John Fisher College and Professor Emeritus at MCC, James Bowman, Associate Professor of English at St. John Fisher College, and Michael Brown, Assistant Professor of History at RIT. Co-hosted by Action Together Rochester.
